Born in Houston and
raised in East Texas, Kevin Laredo is a singer-songwriter who currently
resides in Arlington, Texas. His musical influences were varied, ranging
from the Beatles to James Taylor. As he got older he got into U2, Lenny
Kravitz, Crowded House, and a wide variety of folk and rock music. He was
always interested in music but didn’t play or sing until he was in his
late teens, early 20’s. His heartfelt ballads and inspiring narratives
have won over many local coffee house and festival audiences in the DFW
area. This will be his first appearance at the Beanstock festival. He is
currently working on his debut CD, "The Hardest Game", which is due out in
early summer.
