Jim Bush has been writing songs
for most of his life. His recently released CD -- "Love, Time &
Distance" -- has received high praise from artists such as Ray Wylie
Hubbard. The songs, which have had considerable airplay on KNON and
other area stations, have been compared to the work of the late Townes Van
Zandt. Produced by guitar legend John Inmon (of Lost Gonzo and Jerry
Jeff Walker fame), Jim's CD features backing from some of the states's
finest musicians, including Lloyd Maines. Jim, a resident of Waxahachie,
says Beanstock has become a favorite festival. "It's a beautiful
setting and very laid back."
